With a successful 2014 Commencement Ceremony behind us, recent High Point University graduates are preparing to commence prestigious career paths around the world at Fortune 500 companies, international service programs, public school systems, top-tier law, medical and graduate school programs, and many other esteemed organizations thanks to their journey at HPU. Here’s a glimpse of one extraordinary graduate from the Class of 2014:
Name: Brenn Bolding

Post-graduation plans: Bolding will be attending the University of Kentucky for their two year post-professional master’s degree program in Athletic Training.
How HPU helped you get there: “HPU has prepared me in so many ways for this next chapter in my life. Not only have they prepared me academically, but I have also learned other critical skills regarding professionalism and the importance of networking and relationship building.”
Most impactful professor at HPU: “There is no way I can narrow it down to one professor, especially within the Athletic Training department. Dr. Henning, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Groh have all done an exceptional job preparing each student for our careers. They each hold unique skills that have created a fabulous Athletic Training Education Program.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: In the Department of Athletic Training, all seniors passed their Board of Certification Exam on the first try. HPU athletic training students, once again, have a first-time pass rate of 100 percent. “We are all graduating as certified athletic trainers now. We’ve all worked so hard for four years and it is a huge reflection on how well the faculty and staff here at HPU have prepared us.”
