Nayasia Coleman

Nayasia Coleman is the assistant director of the Center for Community Engagement. In her role, Coleman is responsible with providing operational and strategic guidance for the Center for Community Engagement. She also is the primary staff member working with the AmeriCorps VISTAs and supports the student-led Volunteer Center. Her goal is to be a catalyst for collaboration across these groups to bring HPU together in service. She has a wide background in community engagement, including working with military families, communities of color and underserved youth. Coleman has a Bachelor of Science in integrative studies with concentrations in writing and gender and women studies.
